The first day we were able to go out and explore Dublin, the sidewalks were slick and the roads slushy but we made a point to hit some free museums and were very pleasantly surprised with the National Gallery of Ireland. I wish we had arrived earlier and had more time to spend in the gallery, there was so much to see and some highlights where paintings by Vermeer and Van Gogh as well as some beautiful religious stained glass pieces.
