Hall of Mirrors – Versailles, France

Castles and palaces are my favorite things to explore on trips to Europe. However, Versailles, was one of the most moving and incredibles ones particularly because of the Hall of Mirrors. Louis XVI designed the hall with wall to wall mirrors to bring in more lights into the palace and since then, many important meetings and negotiations have taken place. I tried to get there as early as I could to beat the crowded but even when they opened the doors, the lines to get in where wrapped around the grounds with folks clamoring to get a look at the hallowed halls.
