I have long wanted to see the home of King Henry VIII and his many wives plus many kings and queens after his reign. The palace was built on to by each successive king or queen, so the styles start with classic Tudor and end with a more modern Georgian.
This village has been made famous as it puts on a production of the Passion of Christ and its beautifully painted buildings.
The castle from Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella's castle at Disneyland are both inspired by this whimsical German one.
